Yeah, I forgot to post this. The camp host said there is no dune access at this time other then they will trailer you in on a tractor and the tractor runs every few hours back and forth. He also said there is some enviromental group out of Phoenix AZ that is putting up some sort of stink about the "...

Riley's Ranch

I had a little bit of time to check out the new riding area with dune access called Riley's Ranch (just south of spinreel on hwy 101) It was open and it looks pretty nice. I talked a little bit with the camp host and they said paving won't be done for a year or so. For now it's dirt and gravel with ...

We haven't stayed here, but the spots at Half moon Bay are very good in size and very close to the dune access. IMO Windy cove is the better of the campsites with dunes access,The other ones they seem to pack them in there a little to tight for me. :bs: Not much elbow room. If you don't mind the wi...

Cabela's is great and I've been to both the Sydney NB Correction= Sidney NE  and Lacy WA stores. Cabela's needs competition to keep prices at bay. So start pushing Bass Pro Shops to move in somewhere in the Portland area. Interesting fact - If you look at the BPS store location map, they both...

King Neptune's has a good Oyster burger and is fairly reasonably priced. I think they close at 8 pm though and don't have any toy hauler/truck parking, they are on the right off hwy 101 just before you turn to go to Windy cove. There is pizza/chicken/seafood joint "Pizza Ray's" after you turn to go t...

Cabela's is overrated! J/K Can't wait for my archery catalog. Just some FYI the store in Lacey does have some truck parking Yeah, I know. Thanks. The ones I have listed are the ones I have been to. Almost all of them are big enough for trucks. I just don't want to start driving into places where I ...
