We haven't stayed here, but the spots at Half moon Bay are very good in size and very close to the dune access.

word is a Cabelas will be eventually going in at Troutdale behind the outlet mall I was told this last year by the someone who works for the developer who was going to get the contract to do the development but with the economy the way it is who knows how long before anything gets moving

We have been camping with it but everytime we have had full hookups. I guess we will go sometime before then and camp without hookups.. I just really wanted to get an idea more then anything.. So thanks!

We will be going over Memorial Day weekend from Thursday-Monday... Between cooking a few meals, running heat when need be and a bathroom use during the nights.. Would be have enough water, propane for that length of time?

Yeah that is true.... This will be our second time down to Coos Bay so it will be nice to have 4 long days to explore the dunes... I think we are as set as we can be with not booking something 6 months ago.

1-6... they are back ins and have a picnic table and fire pit.. the sites in the middle dont have either...

We would but they are booked up and we need 6 spots together.. So I just booked at Horsfall Beach at least we will be there to ride, so if camp stinks we can just head out to ride.

Winchester Bay Campgrounds
Ok so still on my search for Memorial day weekend... I called Discovery Point and they only have two sites open that are not next to each other.... Does anyone know the campground that is on your left hand side when you are driving to the dunes at Winchester??
